Allison Wallis is a disability rights activist, wheelchair user and writer. She has written for the Washington Post, Healthline, and other publications and is currently at work on a memoir, “Dura Mater”, about her odyssey of diagnosing her own genetic medical conditions after doctors told her she was crazy. She lives in rural Hawaii with her family, and is currently wheeling around the Bay Area on vacation.
